CASEing Lydia

Lydia Fiedler, AKA understandblue, is this week's featured stamper on SCS.  Lydia runs SCS, and she's a very talented stamper too!  The challenge was to CASE a card from Lydia's gallery, making at least 2 changes.  I changed the stamp sets and colors used.
This was a 5-minute card!  Just swipe 3 colors direct to paper (sorry spots won't work for this!) and add a stamped image and sentiment.  I discovered that Whisper White works the best for this.  I tried it with Confetti White, but it just didn't look right.
Stamps used were Lovely as a Tree and Sincere Salutations.  Colors are Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze.
Happy stamping!

Clean and simple window sheet card

Here's another card using the printed window sheets. (Sorry about my reflection in the card, but I can't figure out how to avoid that.) I'm trying to use up as many of my accessories as I can before the new catalog starts on July 1st. This card uses the To the Nines textured DSP as well as the 5/16" jumbo brads. I attached the window sheet to the DSP (this particular sheet is Always Artichoke paisley) and then adhered it to the kraft cardbase with mini glue dots where the brads are and monoadhesive on the rest of the DSP. I stamped the sentiment from Sincere Salutations on the DSP in Chocolate Chip ink.
I think this is neutral enough to send to a man. Do you think so?

1-2-3 challenge card

Here's the card I created for this week's workshop wow demo challenge. I gave them a 1-2-3 challenge. They had to use 1 stamp set and 1 sentiment, 2 different techniques, and 3 In Colors and/or 3 accessories.
My stamp set is Dreams du Jour with a sentiment from Sincere Salutations. My techniques are baby wipe and dazzling diamond dust. My 3 In Colors are Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Riding Hood Red, and my 3 accessories are ribbon (Baja Breeze and Pacific Point), a button (Button Bouquet), and a corduroy brad. I also used the ticket corner punch.

Clearly Easy Card

Today's card was super quick and simple. It literally took me 5 minutes to make this one, thanks to the new Clearly Thanks printed window sheets from the upcoming Occasions Mini catalog. They are pre-printed acetate sheets with 4 images on one 8 1/2 X 11 sheet. This section came with the dots on it, and I stamped "thanks so much" from Sincere Salutations using White StazOn. I used regular adhesive to adhere it along the top then tied on the ribbon to cover up the adhesive.
