I'm punchy!

For this week's workshop wow challenge, I decided to feature punches. As I said in last Saturday's post, my fellow challenge hostess, Stacey, has really been rocking the punches lately, and she inspired this challenge. Oh, I also told them they couldn't use white or vanilla. Can't make it too easy!
I decided to make one of my flowers using the Heart to Heart punch. I used Tangerine Tango so it would look like a gerbera daisy. I decided to make a 4 1/4" square card so the flower would stand out a bit more instead of getting lost on a bigger card.
Supplies (all SU): Stamps: Refuge and Strength; Paper: Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron, Urban Oasis DSP; Ink: Kiwi Kiss; Accessories: Heart to Heart punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, designer label punch, 1/2" circle punch, filigree brads, whisper white taffeta ribbon, ticket corner punch, 1" circle punch
Happy stamping!

My first WICKED challenge card

As I posted on Monday, we had our first WICKED challenge on SCS. Here is the card I made for the color combo. The colors are So Saffron, Perfect Plum, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss. This is definitely out of the box for me! I did the Emerging Color technique. I think it's really cool-looking. I dyed the vanilla taffeta ribbon by putting it into a sandwich bag with a few drops of Kiwi Kiss reinker and a little water. I smooshed it all around until the ribbon was totally colored, blotted on a paper towel and then dried it with my heat tool. (Be careful with the heat tool, the ribbon crinkles up very easily!)
Supplies (all SU): Stamps: Refuge & Strength; Paper: Whisper White, So Saffron, Perfect Plum, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss; Ink: VersaMark, Perfect Plum, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss; Accessories: clear EP, brayer, ticket corner punch, heat tool, Styled Silver HPH
Gotta run and read my new catalog!!
Happy stamping!
