Watercolored cupcakes

One of the Creative Crew challenges this month is to watercolor. Confession #1: I am not very good at watercoloring. Confession # 2: I am the creator of the challenge! I really did for ponygirl40, one of the Creative Crew who is fab at watercoloring. She gave us some tips, but I think I'm beyond hope!
I CASEd this card from Tessa Wise, one of the SU Artisan Award winners. I love the layout! I changed the DSP, but most of the rest of it is the same.
In order to get the dimension I wanted in my cupcakes, I used a blender pen on the lines; I just couldn't get the aquapainter to do what I wanted. I also added Moonlight accent ink for the frosting.

Here's a little sneak peek of what we'll be making at my workshop tomorrow night. I'll show you more on Wednesday!

Happy stamping!

Never ending card!

Today's project is the never ending card. It's so amazing! Today I'll show you all of the views of the card, and tomorrow I'll post how to make it.
Here is the first view of the card. I think you can tell that it opens in the center. You fold both sides back.

Here's the top view of how it looks with the two sides folded back.

That reveals this on the inside! Next, you fold the top cupcake up and the bottom cupcake down.

Here is the third view! Now, fold it open in the center.

Here's how it looks when you're opening it.

Here is the 4th and final view. I left the bottom panel blank to write my message. This panel has a horizontal opening.

Here's how it looks as you open it to reveal the front panel again! Is this cool or what?
Happy stamping!

A short post

This is a short post because I'm at my mom's and she has dial-up internet. I wasn't able to get this one posted before I left, and I'm flying back on Wednesday when this will post.

This card was for today's Workshop Wow. The challenge is to make a card without using any punches and also to use rub-ons. I used my newest set and paper pieced the cupcake. I added some glitter for the sprinkles. I will add some details after I get back home, and on Friday I'll post a couple of photos of my mom and her friends at our all-day stampfest!
Supplies (all SU): Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes; Paper: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Junior Varsity DSP; Ink: Chocolate Chip; Accessories: aquapainter, watercolor wonder crayons, Chit Chat rub-ons, Bashful Blue taffeta ribbon, fine cosmo glitter
