Scrap card!

I made this card using scraps from my craft table.  The Winter Frost DSP is leftover from my Christmas cards.  They were already 1 1/2" wide, so I just had to trim them down to 3 3/4".  I adhered them to a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Island Indigo cardstock.  I tied Coastal Cabana ribbon around that and adhered it to a Coastal Cabana cardbase.
The flower from Secret Garden and the Island Indigo punched flower were already on my craft table.  I added the Smoky Slate scallop circle and a silver button (from the Occasions Mini) tied with Island Indigo bakers twine.
Happy stamping!

Simply pressed clay!

This is the card we made at my workshop last week.  The cardbase is Daffodil Delight with 2 strips of Gingham Garden washi tape at the bottom.  There's a doily in the upper left corner.  The flower and leaves are from Secret Garden.  The flower is stamped in Melon Mambo, and we used an aquapainter to draw the color from the outline into the flower petals.  The flower center is made with the new simply pressed clay and flower mold.  You press the clay into the mold, pop it out, and let it dry.  Then we sponged it with Daffodil Delight ink.

New Occasions and SAB stuff!

Here's the first card I've made with my new stuff!  The cardbase is Summer Starfruit.  I wasn't too sure about this color at first, but it's growing on me!  The DSP is Sycamore Street, and it's one of the freebies for Sale-a-bration!  The Rich Razzleberry button and Pool Party ribbon are also from SAB.  There's also a stamp set and embossing folder that coordinate with the DSP.
The stamp set is called Secret Garden.  It's in the Occasions catalog, and there's a set of framelits that cut out all of the images.

Alyssa's birthday card--NEW STUFF!

I got my Occasions catalog preorder last week, so I had to make a card using my new stuff right?  Even though I haven't finished my Christmas cards, sigh!
This technique is called triple time stamping.  You adhere 3 graduated laters together, stamp on them and then separate them with mats.  (I got the measurements from Dawn Olchefske's blog.  The DSP pieces are 2 X 3 1/4, 3 X 4 1/4, and 4 X 5 1/4.  The 2 mats are 2 1/4 X 3 1/2 and 3 1/4 X 4 1/2.)
I used 3 new things on this card.  The stamp set is called Secret Garden, and it has framelits that cut out the shapes!  I haven't had a new flower set in a long time!  The button is from Sale-A-Bration, and I got the color combo from the SAB DSP even though I didn't use the DSP itself on this card.  The colors I used are Island Indigo, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and Tangerine Tango.
Happy stamping!
