Wine Country

On Sunday, Kristen took me to Temecula where they have lots of wineries. We were driving through the hills. This was my view while we were driving. Many of the areas hit by the wildfires are already turning green. It was just beautiful!
This was at Wilson Creek Winery, the first of three wineries we visited. We did a tasting at each winery, and I bought some great wine and champagne to bring home.

Love You Much swap # 4

Today's card was created by Stacey Miller. I love the use of the Top Note die, and there's glitter on the big heart!
Happy stamping!

Fun in not-so-sunny California

My co-worker, Kristen, took me to Hollywood and downtown L.A. today. It has been raining for the last 2 days, but the skies cleared before we got to Hollywood. Hooray!
We went to Grauman's Chinese Theater, and here are "footprints" from R2D2, C3PO and Darth Vader!
Kristen and me in front of the theater.
While we were in Chinatown, we spotted a parade starting. Here are the dragons.
Here I am at the entrance to Chinatown. The dragons are awesome!
While I'm enjoying my visit to CA, I can't wait to get back home; I'm having stamping withdrawal!

Love You Much swap # 3

Today's card comes from Angie Pegram. Care to guess what I love most about it? If you know me at all, you know the answer is the color purple. I think the Lovely Lilac really makes the other colors pop! She also used my all-time favorite punch--the ticket corner punch.

Happy stamping!

Love You Much swap # 2

I only have the SCS name of this swapper: Meginma. I love the addition of the Night of Navy, and you know I'm a fan of this medallion using the scallop border punch. The addition of the gel pen dots is nice!

Love You Much swap # 1

I'm traveling the next two weeks for work (I have to go to Southern California. Don't you feel sorry for me? LOL), so I'll be sharing swaps I received using the recent Love You Much bundle. For this swap, we had to use the Love You Much stamp set, Candy Lane DSP and the Heart to Heart punch. I am amazed at the variety in the swaps I received! Everyone did a wonderful job! First up is this lovely card by Tracy Riekenberg. I love the layout and the creative use of the punch.
Happy stamping!

How do you like the new blog template?

What do you think of my new blog template? Elizabeth, who is a GENIUS, has posted a ton of free blog templates here. I couldn't get mine installed, and she not only installed it for me, she also created my new header, e-mail button and signature! What a sweetheart!
