Butterfly thinlits!

I am in love with the butterfly thinlits!  I will say they take a little more work than some of the other thinlits.  I ran this through 4 or 5 times, and I used waxed paper as well.  I read that using 4 dryer sheets helps too.  I'll try that next time.
I sponged the outer edges and center with a little ink.  I love the look!  This is a super quick card!

Pop up diorama card

At my March workshop, we made a pop up diorama card.  This is a fun 3D card that folds flat for mailing.  It's super easy to make with a few score lines and some punches.  You can find the tutorial here.

We ended up using four punches on this card.  So fun!

The Open Sea birthday card

This is the other card from my January workshop.  I really wanted to highlight the Adventure Bound paper stack because it is hard to see the patterns in the catalog.
The cardbase is Smoky Slate.  We stamped the splatter from Gorgeous Grunge in Smoky Slate ink then added the DSP.  The sentiment is from the December Paper Pumpkin.  The anchor from the Open Sea was stamped onto white cardstock, and then we stamped the small swoosh from Work of Art over it.  The colors we used are Smoky Slate and Island Indigo (stamped off once).

Resist paper and Blendabilities!

This card was from my January workshop, and it features some new products.  The cardbase is Crumb Cake, and we stamped the flower from Petal Potpourri all over the card with Crumb Cake ink.  Then we stamped the flower onto white cardstock using Memento ink and colored it with Blendabilities.  We punched out the flower using the coordinating flower medallion punch.
The paper strip with the leaves is from the Irresistably Yours DSP pack, which is  a Saleabration free item.  I love it because you can make your own DSP in any color!  The paper looks all white, and the pattern is clear embossed.  You just sponge on any color you like!  Here we used Wild Wasabi.

January Paper Pumpkin valentine

The January Paper Pumpkin kit makes adorable little treat bags for Valentine's Day, but I wanted to make some cards with the kit.  I decided to go with a quilt kind of look by cutting the paper strips into squares.
This would be really easy to do with any DSP, not just what was in this kit.  The card base is Pink Pirouette, and I layered Real Red on top of it.  The squares are 1 1/2 inches each.

Big News wedding card

I needed a tailored wedding card, not something I've had to create before!  Thankfully, I have the Big News set, which has a great variety of sentiments.  I chose Night of Navy for the card base and sentiment layer.  I used Gold Soiree DSP; it has gold on one side of every sheet!  I stamped the sentiment with gold ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I used the Labels framelits for the sentiment and layer.
